We have always wanted to go to the Aquarium to draw, and we decided that we better go now before school takes over our lives. Shelley started the day out in blue pencil, then went into pen, did a few more in normal pencil, and finishing the day with her set of alcohol based markers. Mohammad switched between pencil and pencil crayon until his last drawing, in which he borrowed Shelley’s pen set.
Ambleside Park
This is one of Shelley’s favorite beaches in Vancouver because it is long and sandy, it is easy to get to, and there is free parking. Ambileside is actually in West Vancouver. As you can see, we were sitting near the Lions Gate Bridge, so we had a great view of Stanley Park from across the water. Today Mohammad focused on his pencil crayons, while Shelley did a warm up sketch in pencil, and then moved on to dry pastels.
